General 

 

1. At NuEpoca, we want to understand an artist’s vision in its entirety. Tell us about your submissions or yourself!

3. Although we will proof read each submission, submissions should not have outstanding grammartical and/or syntax errors. 

 

Formatting

 

1. Include full name on either email and document. A pen name is fine.

3. Submit either a word document or google document to nuepoca@gmail.com.

5. The header of the email should be your full name/Fiction Prose(# of submissions) Example: Jane Doe/Fiction Prose(5) 

6.  

7. Include any trigger warnings in the body if necessary. 

 

Restrictions 

 

1. Submissions can not exceed 7,000 words. 

2.  

3. No more than six submissions per category.

4.  

5. No submissions that purposefully discriminate against a specific group of people with no rhetorical/literary value and are intended to spur hate against specified groups.

7. No submissions that target specific individuals and resemble harassment/bullying. 

8.  

9. No submissions that have recently been published by another journal unless it is a substantially different version. Examples of substantially different pieces: first drafts(before edited for publication), revised drafts, uncensored drafts, etc.
