HOW TO SUBMIT MISCELLANEOUS WORKS

General 

 

1. Miscellaenous submissions can include original tattoo work, graffiti, links to short films, video essays, music, or something else! Surprise us. 

2.  

3. At NuEpoca, we want to understand an artist’s vision in its entirety. Tell us about the submission or yourself! This can include

•     an Author Bio (Maximum 250 words) 
• a background on a specific piece (Maximum 300 words) 

 

Formatting

 

1. Include full name on email and document. A pen name is fine. 

    

   The header of the email should be your full name/Misc(# of submissions) Example: Jane Doe/Misc(5) 

2.  

3. EPS, TIFF, or PSD format is preferred for photos. PDF and PNG are accepted. 

4.  

5. Provide an accessible link for music and/or videos in the email. 

6.  

7. Include any trigger warnings in the body if necessary. 

8.  

   No submissions that have been published by another journal. 

 

1. If you are submitting to two or more categories, please use separate emails for each category. 

2.  

3. If two pieces are meant to be displayed together, but are in different categories, they can be submitted together. Please Head the email as: Jane Doe/Mixed(#of submissions). 

       

 

Restrictions 

 

1. No more than 12 misc. submissions. 

2.  

    

   No more than 12 total submissions, regardless of category. 

    

1. No submissions that purposefully discriminate against a specific group of people with the intention or implication of spurring hate. 

2.  

3. No submissions that target specific individuals and resemble harassment/bullying. 

4.  

5. No submissions that have recently been published by another journal unless it is a substantially different version and you have clearance from the previous publication.
