HOW TO SUBMIT PHOTOS, PHYSICAL ART, AND DIGITAL ART

General 

 

1. These guidelines apply to photography, pictures of physical art(a physical painting for example), and digital art. 

2.  

3. We highly encourage contributors to Submit an Author Bio (max 250 words) and/or

4. Submit a caption (max 300 words). This is not mandatory. 

5.  

6. Your work stands a chance to be the cover! 

 

Formatting

 

1. Include full name on email and document. A pen name is fine. 

    

   The header of the email should be your full name/Photography(# of submissions) Example: Jane Doe/Photography(5)

3. 300 dpi or higher is recommended if applicable. 

4.  

5. EPS, TIFF, or PSD format is preferred.

6.  

7. PDF and PNG are accepted. 

8.  

9. For pictures of Physical Art, please ensure the artwork is against a solid background with the desired lighting. Bad angles, lighting, background, etc, can impact your chances to be accepted even if the art work itself is stunning. 

10.  

11. Include any trigger warnings in the body if necessary. 

 

Restrictions 

 

1. No more than six submissions per category. 

 

        No more than 12 total         submissions.

 

1. No submissions that purposefully discriminate against a specific group of people with the intention or implication of spurring hate. 

2.  

3. No submissions that target specific individuals and resemble harassment/bullying. 

4.  

5. No submissions that have recently been published by another journal unless it is a substantially different version and you have clearance from the previous publication.
